View the Control Panel on the DP's LCD screen.  The top line will display the processor speed.

Console Software Upgrade

NOTE: Upgrading from versions before v3.0 will result in touch screens being disabled.  Only use the FPSPKG to upgrade from version 3.0.0 or greater.  Otherwise use the Full Install below.

We recommend using this update method, as it requires a smaller download and does not erase your shows. It contains exactly the same software as the larger clean install. 
This file will only upgrade existing V3.0.0 or later installations.  To upgrade from previous versions, please use the clean install below.

This is a single file that can be copied to a CD-R, CD-RW or Zip disk to update the console from a previous software version to the latest build. Any data on the console such as shows and user preferences will be kept safe during the update. Note it is also possible to return to an older version of software using this method if desired.

Console Full Install

You should normally use the smaller 'Upgrade' package above to update your console.

NOTE: A FULL INSTALL must be performed for version 3.0.1  Using Software Upgrade from an .iso will disable the touchscreens.

This will format the console hard drive and reinstall the operating system.  All data on the console will be erased; please backup any shows to external media before performing the install.

NOTE: The full installation can take up to seven minutes and does not display a dialog during this process.  Please wait for the console to fully reboot before attempting to cycle the power.

The ISO image must be properly extracted onto a CD prior to loading into a console, please refer to the CD Burning Guide for ISO file instructions.
