Remote Node Reset
Users can now reset nodes remotely. This can be done in the Network
window or as a Trigger Macro. In the Network Window (Setup >
Network), right-click on the node and select 'Reset Node'. This
can only reset a node which has not crashed.
The Trigger Macro macro acronym is RN (Reset Node) and it accepts
the modifiers i (IOP), h (Console), and d (DMX Processor), followed
by the User Number of the node.
Resetting a Console will display a warning dialog with a 5 second
countdown on the Console which is about to be reset. Pressing
Cancel will cancel the reset.
Unused palette removal
In the spread sheet view of the Palette Directory, there is a
column ("Is Used") that shows if a palette is referenced
by any programming. Direct palettes will always show No in this
column because they cannot be referenced by programming.
In the Show Manager, under Show Maintenance (Setup > Shows
> Current Show > Show Maintenance), there is a button 'Strip
Unused Palettes' to remove all of the palettes that are not referenced
by any programming. This will not remove Direct palettes.
Record Remove Backwards
Record Remove Backwards has been implemented. If you choose these
options when recording to a cue, the touched values that track
to that cue will be removed.
For example, if Cue 1 has Fixture 1 at Full and Fixture 2 at
50%, and Cue 2 has Fixture 2 at Full, if you give Fixture 1 any
Intensity value in the Programmer and press
Merge Remove Backwards Cue 2 Enter
this will remove the Intensity programming for Fixture 1 from
Cue 1.
This only works if a single destination is specified. You will
be informed that this operation needs a single destination if
you try to do otherwise.
Wysiwyg Connectivity
The Wholehog III Wysiwyg Connectivity is now ready. For instructions
for connecting to your existing Wysiwyg system.
For information on how to intsall this then please refer to our
Integration guide.
Fixture Library
To support some new fixtures,
it was necessary to move to library version v3.0.0. It is not
possible to merge v3.x.x libraries into a show created with a
v2.x.x library. To continue support for existing shows, the software
distributions will include two default library files: fixturelib_v2
and fixturelib_v3. The primary difference was the inclusion of
the DL-1 with Camera protocol. This will only exist in v3 libraries.
